Today we took advantage of the lack of workmen in our yard by strolling on the pathways and assessing the progress. We saw under our balcony a bird's nest in the space where the supports meet. For a number of reasons we don't want birds nesting there, so we removed the nest while the birds were out getting more materials. We didn't want them to get far enough along in their process where they are laying eggs.
