In June, 1998 I got a cord board! It was bought for me and delivered by a very dear friend. "Does it work?" you ask. Kind of. I have our phone lines connected to it, and you can plug into them and hear a very faint dial tone or disconnect using the levers, but you cannot dial and there is no talking circuit. Besides external power, this board was made to be used in conjunction with a (albeit very antiquated) PBX switching system.
